Fund the task once.Pay the moment it clears
Taskchain holds the money for every task you post, runs the review, and sends the payout the second it is approved. Your crew stops chasing you. You stop having a payout day.

Four teams, one problem: paying for work in pieces
All four pay a lot of people a little money, often, across borders. All four batch it monthly, because the rails they have leave them no choice.

Every task travels the same four links, in the same order, whether it is a forty-cent item or a forty-thousand-dollar batch. Every link is signed and timestamped, which is also your audit trail.

}Three things stop being your job, starting the day you fund it
Paying people, chasing approvals, and working out whether a four dollar payout is even worth sending. Here is what each one becomes.
Pay per task, not per month
Every task carries its own payout and its own escrow. Approval releases it. There is no cycle to run, no batch to reconcile, and nobody waiting three weeks to find out whether their work counted.
Teams in the beta run a median of zero manual payout runs a month
- Check 25 storefront addresses$6.50TC-40928~18 minFunded
- Transcribe two minutes of audio$3.10TC-40934~9 min
- Rate 40 search results$5.40TC-40941~24 min
Approval is the trigger, not a separate argument
Set the acceptance criteria once, on the template. A reviewer approves or sends it back with a reason, in one click, and the money follows the decision. Every round is logged against the task.
Two-reviewer default. Arbitration finds for the worker 34% of the time
- Matches the brief
- Sample passes spot check
- Release $6.50 from escrow
A $6.50 payout costs you a third of a cent
The fee does not scale with the payout, because the rail does not. That is the whole reason per-task payment works here and cannot work on a bank rail, where the transfer is worth more than the task.

Under $2,000 a month in payouts, Starter is free and the fee is 1%.
Assumes a Wise-style business batch at 4.2% all-in on small cross-border amounts plus $1.10 a payment, and one minute of ops time per payment for preparing, sending and reconciling. Change any of it and the shape of the answer does not.
Your budget stays yours until you approve
Taskchain is a set of instructions attached to money you control. It is not a pool we hold and allocate, and that distinction is the whole design.
Escrow is held per task, under your account
Funding a task locks that exact amount and nothing else. Taskchain cannot release it, redirect it or borrow against it. Cancel and it is back in your balance in the same block.
Every state change is signed and timestamped
Posted, claimed, verified, paid, and every rejection and retry in between. Export the whole log as CSV or pull it from the API. It is the audit trail your finance team is currently rebuilding from Slack.
The person who posts cannot be the person who approves
Role-based release, off by default and one switch away. Above a threshold you set, a second approver is required before escrow opens.
SOC 2 Type II in progress. KYB on funding sources
W-8BEN and W-9 collected at first payout, 1099 summaries exported at year end. The network each payout settled on is named on every receipt.
Reviewed by an external auditor and not yet certified. We will say so here on the day that changes, and not before.
One fee that gets smaller, the more you pay out
Every plan runs the same escrow and the same four-link chain. What changes is the fee on payout volume, how fast a task gets reviewed, and who picks up when something goes wrong.

The fee is on what you pay out, not taken off your crew. A worker is paid the number on the task, exactly.
It is not a marketplace and it is not payroll
The closest things to Taskchain each solve one half of this and leave the other half in a spreadsheet.

The people who stopped having a payout day
Four ops leads on what changed once approval and payment became the same event.
We were losing annotators to the payment lag, not the pay. Three weeks between finishing a batch and seeing the money, every month. That number is now about four minutes and our churn halved.
Payout day was two days of my month. Exporting the sheet, checking the sheet, sending the batch, answering the eleven people the batch missed. There is no payout day now. I did not replace it with anything.
Our moderators were on hourly contracts because per-item was impossible to pay. We moved 40,000 items onto per-item last quarter and the good reviewers immediately started earning more than the hourly rate.
The escrow is what got it past finance. The money never leaves an account we control until someone on our team approves the work, and every one of those approvals has a name and a timestamp on it.

What your crew sees: a link, and the money
No account with Taskchain, no contract, no wallet to set up, and no mention of a blockchain anywhere on the screen.
A link, once
They confirm where the money should go. That is the entire setup, and it happens on a phone.
The brief and what it pays
Before they start, not after. Including how long it usually takes and who will review it.

A bank account in 34 countries, or hold the balance. Everything on their screen is priced in dollars.

Ama BoatengTranscription, Kumasi. Paid through Taskchain by two teams.Post one task and watch it clear
Fund fifty dollars, post a real task, and see the whole chain run end to end this afternoon. If it does not fit, you have spent fifty dollars and an hour finding out.
- Your money stays yours until you approve. Unspent escrow returns the moment you cancel.
- Your crew needs no account, no wallet and no crypto knowledge. They get a link.
- No contract and no seat minimum. Turn it off and the balance comes back.
Funding to first cleared task: under an hour
The eight that come up before anyone funds a balance
If yours is not here, the last answer has a person on the end of it.
Funded escrow is held per task, in a contract your account controls. Taskchain cannot release it, redirect it or borrow against it. Cancel a task and the amount is back in your balance in the same block. We are a set of instructions attached to money you own, not a pool we hold on your behalf.
No. They get a payout link and confirm a destination once. They can hold the stablecoin or cash out to a bank account in 34 countries, and nobody has to touch an exchange. Everything on their screen is priced in dollars.
Your people by default, against acceptance criteria you set on the template. On Team and Scale you can hand the first pass to our reviewer pool and keep the final call, which is what teams do for volume work with an unambiguous rubric.
The worker sees the reviewer's reason and gets one chance to fix it inside 24 hours. If it is rejected again either side can send it to arbitration, where a third reviewer who has seen neither round decides. Arbitration finds for the worker about a third of the time, which is roughly the number we would expect and the reason we publish it.
W-8BEN and W-9 are collected at first payout and 1099 summaries export at year end. You keep the contractor relationship and the classification decision that goes with it; Taskchain keeps the paperwork and the audit trail. Funding sources go through KYB.
Everything on screen is priced in dollars. The escrow is funded in USDC and topped up by bank transfer or card, so the only place the stablecoin is visible is the receipt. Direct fiat payout rails for the US, UK and EU are the next thing we are building.
Yes. Post tasks, receive approval and settlement webhooks, pull the full audit log. Most teams in the beta wire it to the queue they already run rather than using the dashboard, which is the outcome we want.
Export every task, review and payout as CSV, or pull it from the API. Unspent escrow returns to your funding source. There is no notice period and no contract to get out of.
