Prior authorization · Specialty clinics
Every request has a position. Even the ones nobody called about.
Waypost files prior authorizations complete, chases them on a schedule, and puts every open request on one board. Your coordinator stops being the tracking system.
01 · The wait
The treatment was decided on Tuesday. Nobody can tell you what happened next.
A request leaves the clinic and enters a payer portal or a fax queue. After that the system tells you nothing: not that it arrived, not that it is short a document, not that it has been sitting for a week. So somebody phones, and phones again, and the phoning becomes the job.

02 · How it clears
Three moves, and the queue in the rail goes to zero.
None of this is clever. It is the work a coordinator would do if a coordinator had the time, done on a schedule that does not depend on anybody remembering.
- 01
File it complete the first time
Waypost keeps each payer's current requirement list and attaches what it asks for before the request goes out. A request that leaves complete cannot come back three weeks later asking for a note you already had.
- 02
Chase it on a schedule
Every open request carries a next contact date, set from how that payer actually behaves. Waypost works the list and records what was said. Nobody has to remember which payer to call on Thursday.

Give every request a position
One board, and every request on it has an age, a state and a next action. When something genuinely needs a person, it is the only amber thing on the screen. Everything else is moving without you.
03 · Start
Bring one week of your open authorizations.
We put them on the board in front of you and show you where each one actually stands. Twenty minutes. Nothing to install, and no commitment at the end of it.
For clinics running infusion, imaging and surgical authorizations.
