- Struck, not flagged
- A face with no cover is struck through, the way a proofreader marks it. No red pill, no severity score to learn.
- Every number is comparable
- Extents and dates are set in tabular figures, so a column of them can be read down its length rather than one row at a time.
- A diff, not a dashboard
- The weekly scan tells you what appeared since Tuesday. That is the part that stops this happening a second time.

Point it at what you own
One DNS zone, one App Store team ID, one ad account. Quoin walks out from there and hands back the estate, including the things nobody meant to keep serving: the 2019 campaign subdomain, the PDF that outranks the page it came from.

Match the outlines, not the file
Web fonts arrive at a CDN renamed, subset and hashed, and the name they arrive under says nothing. Quoin matches on the glyph outlines themselves, so a face renamed to a37f2c.woff2 is still the face it always was, and a subset with 214 glyphs still identifies against the full cut.

Set it against your paperwork
Forward the invoices, or connect the mailbox they land in. Quoin reads the seat counts and the terms out of them and lines them up against what is running, so the report says which licence should cover a face and does not, rather than only that the face is there.
We thought we had four faces. We had nine, and two of them were in the app. The report took an afternoon to read and about six weeks to act on, which is still nine days better than the letter would have given us.
